Our team has been involved in supporting the development and positive growth of corrections agencies for over a decade. We collaborate with you and your agency to assist with evidence-based practices, leadership development and support, and implementing plans to achieve your objectives.
Miller and Micek has developed a program to assist rural colleges and universities with implementing resilience coaching and mental health supports to assist students as they move through their academic career. We will work with your team to establish this program as best fits your institutional needs!
Evaluation and research are essential drivers of data-based decision-making. Our experience with developmental, formative, and summative evaluation and applied research means we can support you and your needs at every stage through evaluation and research projects.
Evidence-based practices now exist in many fields and disciplines. The processes for implementation of these types of practices (and the changes that go with them) can be difficult to plan and adjust. We can assist you and your organization with EBP planning, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Grants have become an increasingly important means of funding the work and special projects of many organizations. Our team has both received several grants and worked as judges of grant applications. We support our clients with collaborative grant-writing and reviews of existing grant applications.
Identifying and supporting the future leaders in your agency not only provides growth for those individuals but also for your organization's initiatives. Our team has also worked to design and execute leadership development using a coaching approach. Contact us to see what coaching can do for you!
In 2023, Miller and Micek Consulting was awarded a grant to facilitate student resilience and success. The project is focused on building resilience through the development of individualized resilience plans coupled with one-on-one coaching with a licensed mental health practitioner. Participants in the project receive all coaching and services free of charge. The project will run from fall 2023 through December 2025.
This project is supported by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 funding for State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) and is being administered by the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) by way of an award totaling $99,720.
