About Us

The partners leading our team are Jenny Miller and Julie Micek. Jenny's work includes administrative and educational positions focusing on data analysis, evaluation and research of education and criminal justice systems. Julie's work includes development and implementation of evidence-based practices within criminal justice, organizational development, and mental health coaching/counseling.

 Our work together began with change and adoption of evidence-based practices within criminal justice, but grew into a recognition that evidence-based practices can offer much more as long as those practices (and the people implementing them) are supported. We launched ourselves as independent consultants in the fall of 2022. Our first major project began in spring 2023 as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.

The main objective for Miller and Micek Consulting is to support those who seek to solve problems through the use of evidence-based practices and data-informed decision-making. Our shared experiences across academia/ education, government and organizational administration, and various collaborative and competitive projects drives our approach. Our mission is to bring those experiences to build up our clients.
